WindhorseThe first time that the Chinese crossed the border into the Central Asia's was in search of the fabled celestial horses of Ferghana Valley. This was a tribal and sometimes treacherous region for them.
These horses, of 'Akhal-Tekke' stock, probably came from Turkmen hundreds of kilometre's to the west in the plains of Turkestan.

The Chintamani, or 'Sacred Stone' was carried from Shambhala on the back of a horse. The golden chest contains the stone of redemption embodying the spiritual essence & power of the world; recorded in Tibetan Buddist legend.

Firehorse Over the mountain crags, we see the constellation, 'Orion' ancient warrior & protector and guardians in the rock faces. The stars and stones attest to the protection of the sacred teachings. The Cintamani legend delineates the fulfillment of prophecy as the sacred teaching of fire-agni-yoga are carried into the world from the mountain heights. In this consummation the universal panacea, or elixir of truth that this stone embodies, is given to humanity at large.
